RAMP: I wrapped the ramps in Freddy's enclosure with rope. It provides a non-sliding surface and has that "step" effect.
SHELVES and CARPET: I had carpet in Freddy's first enclosure. It was a real pain to keep clean (his poop and pee soaked in really well), it smells weird if it gets wet, his claws could get caught in the fiber and rip out. I used linoleum tile. Easy to clean, and safe. Linoleum sheets are better though.
Though not the most recent, check out the pics.
I'll take some more pics and upload them if I can because the tiles and new shelving were not put in yet when these pics were taken.
: Is rope ok to put in the cage and if so what kind of rope is recomended? For shelves, should I put some kind of carpet on them, or will polyeurothane be enough? What kind of carpet, non sliding substance should I put on the ramps? I know I have a lot of questions but I just want to make this cage safe for my Ig.
