More cage ???

Is rope ok to put in the cage and if so what kind of rope is recomended? For shelves, should I put some kind of carpet on them, or will polyeurothane be enough? What kind of carpet, non sliding substance should I put on the ramps? I know I have a lot of questions but I just want to make this cage safe for my Ig.
