: Hi all!
: I was just wondeting as Gizmo seems to be shedding AGAIN (still?) if I should help peel her skin off at all. I've read that shed can cut off toe circulation and stuff so I'm always worried about that but she doesn't seem to like being helped....at ALL. It's kind of fun for me too - it saves the skin around my nails from getting picked at. :-) Anyway, if someone could tell me whether or not I should just leave her alone it'd be great. Thanks!

If you pick the skin and it has ANY resistance, don't finish pulling at it. If it's still attached to the ig, it can damage the underlying tissue. If it's really dry and comes off easily, then go for it! I do help around the "fingers and toes" if it is dried and needs help getting off. I LOVE picking it around the spikes, but there again, it will come right off if it's ready.

During this time, bathe and spray your ig to help him shed.
