Anthony,
How old is the igunana? If he is a hatchiling or still very young then he still has his wild instincts, and will think you are tryin to hurt him when you goto pick him up, or even go near him, give him a little time to get used to his surroundings, and he should calm down. Plus when you put your hand in his cage to pick him up, try to slide your hand under him instead of coming down on him, he might take that a little easier, you might also wat to try just letting him rest on your hand while its in the cage so he can get used to it being there, just for a few seconds before you pick him up. Quincy was like that when I first got him and now he is calm as can be, I just stick my arm in his cage close to him and let him climb on it, I think that gives him the thought that he doesnt have to do it if he doesnt want to do it.
