Hee hee, he's maturing!!

I think Columbus is reaching maturity at the moment. He's 8 months at the moment and this morning I received my first Head Bob from him! All I could do is laugh at him. It looked so funny, my little baby acting big and tough!
Tail whipping he hasnt done yet, but the occasional tail 'wagging' has happened!
What age should I be able to determine his/her sex?
