Yes, sometimes it works, sometimes not. I keep two females in separate rooms as the weaker one (Rex) easily become stressed when Lizzy head bobs and attack (who shouldnt).
Maybe they could learn to live together later on. Well see...
I know one fellow in Germany where one of his females suddenly one day almost took off one limb on anoother female.
Tree or forest is very big, multiple escape routes , basking and feeding areas...
