: I donīt agree in all points with Kitty,
Iguanas in the wild are very social animals with a sophisticated communication behaviour. They know all members of their group individually and females and juveniles are often found in groups. Only adult males donīt want other males in their territory. Newly introduced igs which donīt know each other can be very nasty and fight severely. However, if you raise females or a male and severa females together it generally works fine and is much more natural than keeping only one ig. However, 1,1 is not the best choice. too much stress for the female. Take 1,2 or 0,2 or more females, thats best. However, 4 ft are much too small for adult igs!!!
