worms

i think my iguana has worms, anyone have any idea on how he got them, and
how i can prevent him from getting them again. i know that i must take
him to the vet, unless there is a way to get rid of them myself. i think
he must have had them when i got him about 2 month's ago. he's about 3
years old. any help would be appreciated.
