Fact: iguanas are not completely solitary animals. No creatures in this world are. The reasons why some of them are drawn towards each other are just unknown to us humans (we do not know even close to everything after all)
There are more indepth social behaviours than we shall ever realise, so how about simply putting it as some can live together in "happiness" as some go actually seek out other iguanas company outside of breeding season, and not simply for warmth, or security. To declare otherwise is not only incorrect, but also trivialises the existance of these magnificent creatures.
