As some of you may or may not know, Mr D and I recently brought home a 9 year old Greenwing Macaw that was surrendered along with a 5 foot american alligator, a skink, 2 bearded dragons and 3 iguanas. We placed the gator, skink and 2 of the iguanas but kept the 3rd iguana due to excessive thermal burns and are fostering the beardies until their forever home is ready for them. Needless to say, we've been a little busy around here! lol
In my care research, I found out that teflon or non-stick pans are toxic to birds and that we can no longer use them to cook with. Has anyone ever heard of this as it pertains to iguanas? How about for other animals?
