Just so there is no confusion here, regular incandescent bulbs and heat lights do give off UVA, which is beneficial, but NOT UVB, which is essential for the production of vitamin D3, and therefore life... UVB only comes from special lighting, such as the zoo-med reptisun and iguana lights, or the activeuv bulbs which give off both. Most types of lighting give UVA, but it's not the wavelength everyone is concerned about the most, that's UVB.
