Need help with feeding

I feed my iggy a nutritous salad everyday but he picks out the greens (mustard, collard, or turnip) and ignores the rest. I've heard that I can serve the salad without the greens and give them later but I'd rather Gus be eating (he's still a baby). Any advice?
