Paw paw = papaya

Yes, Raylene, papaya is a good fruit for igs, but remember that all fruits should be fed in moderation, and should make up no more than 5% of the diet. As an example, when I feed Bug, he gets a ceramic pie plate heaped with "salad", and the fruit may be 4 blueberries, or one fig, or one sliced strawberry. Too bad about the paw paws, they're a wild fruit in KY, and I seldom get them. If you had found an outlet, I was pretty excited!

As to the Christmas tree, I can't recommend letting him in it a lot. If it's green, and ig will eventually try to eat it, and some evergreens are toxic.
