Shedding....

I have 2 questions about shedding: First, how often should a 8" long (snout to vent, with a 13" tail.. givng size because I don't know her age) female iguana shed? Second, how long should a typical shed last? Ok one more question.. Is there anything special about their shedding that i should look for? I am getting a book either today or tomorrow, but i thought i would check here for some hands on experienced advice. Thank you.
