Hi, my little iguana nikki is one of Flukers blue diamond iguana's.. she's an El Salvador blue/green mix... as far as I know about the color of iguana's it mostly depends on were there from..what country and what there fed.. diets healthy greens and ive herd kabocha squash also brings out more blue.. flukers feeds a diet called blue diamond iguana diet it's availble at places like petsmart and pet co.. when I got her she was all a very dark blue and they told me to continue feeding her the diet..shes a very brilliant green bue right now but I have not fed her the diet in about 6 months because of having to stick to a strict diet sense she was hurt. you can see her pics posted above..after a bath or being out in direct sun she turns nearly all blue still but is mostly a very bright green over most her body. I have only seen 2 adult iguans from flukers as well that were a very bright green. it's rumored that they will stay blue as long as fed the blue diamond diet..
I also Have a juvi blue morph chinese water dragon
she is a bright blue..
flukers claims there iguana's stay blue but from nearly all postings ive ever seen on them most people claimed they only stay blue as long as fed the diet.
