Hi,
nikki..my juvi iguana has done the same thang a few times, shes so small there is not much they can do for her tiny toes and depending on wich was broke and wear..how bad...
shes broken her longest rear left toe at the first joint and it was like you described, still alive just bent back and sideways..
I took her to 3 vets before someone new how to actually help..
they made a tiny splint from what looks like that white medical tape and streightened the toe..
I had to keep it on for 2 months and she wasn't allowed to get it wet..
anyways the toe healed streight and she walks and hops n runs on it just fine.. vets had suggested letting it be and letting her drag it around like that or cutting it off...
shes also broke her left front (pinky) nothing they can do for that because it's so small..just lays a bit sideways but she acts as if nothing differn't.. most recently she severly broke and dislocated her longest rear right toe at the first joint.. same vet that splinted the left side sugested just letting this one be because of how bad it was and risk of further hurting the foot or other toes if splinted..
i'm just sapose to watch her closely and bring her back for check ups.. we discovered she was getting her tiny sharp nails cought on reptile carpet in her habbitat..it's been removed and curently using sterile top soil mix with coconut bark..
I hope this helps
