: Most pet shops don't tell you that the $10 lil iggy you just bought has the capability of growing up to 6ft in length or more! (I think the known record is 8'2").
: We've got two igs. Skittles, male, is just over 3ft long, and Annie, female, is 4ft long. We've just moved them to an outdoor enclosure which is L10'xW5'xH7'.
: So, you will need to plan for the future when you think about the home you're going to put them in.
: You have to decide whether you can afford to buy a new tank, or build a new home every few months, or whether you're going to build an enclosure from the start which you can "upgrade" to make larger as time passes and your ig grows.
