I don't mean to give you a hard time, but you should not let your iguana go without a UV light for so long-- unless you are taking it outside to get direct sunlight on a regular basis. This can cause the beginning stages of MBD for sure! Next time borrow money and buy the light on line (they are not that expensive). Get the Zoomed light (and these lights should be changed out every year-- some people change them after 6 months) They are to be changed before they burn out.
Also, even if that bedding doesn't appear to be problematic, it can be doing harm to your iguanas respiratory system or you never know when he might eat a piece when you are not looking. It is not worth the risk-- change it to astroturf or newspaper(easiest and cheapest). Anyway, save money on not buying that bedding so you can save it for the lights every year.
