Igs aren't trusting of us, especially baby igs. They think we are predators. Is your baby ig in an enclosure where you have to reach in from the top to pick him/her up? Coming at them from that angle really spooks a baby ig. Gaining an ig's trust requires lots of time handling them, and lots of patience! It doesn't happen overnight.
