Please don't sell the ig back to a pet store. 99.9 percent of them don't know diddly about taking care of an iguana (as evidenced by most of the people on iguana boards when they purchased their iggies).

Iggies DO take time to tame, especially one like yours who has been neglected and goodness knows what else. It's a shame you don't have the time, because they do make wonderful pets.

It took me six months to tame mine.

I hope you have luck in finding a GOOD home for the iguana.
