Need Help and or Advice...

Hello all...I recently rescued an Ig...It was underweight and it is scared of people due to its neglected life before I got him...Well, I brought him back up to good weight but hes still scared...I can take him outta the cage but he whips and scratches...Once hes out he quite calm and tame...Well, I dont really have all the time he needs...Im afraid that if i sell him to a pet store or somebody once they realize how scared it is of people theyll think its mean and wont want to take care of it ne more...I dont want this Ig to die but i dont have all the time he needs me to spend with him...handling him everyday is very hard and i really just dont know what to do...Please help me out...thanx alot
