O.k. I want to get a head start here.
What is everyones plan when egging season comes along?
I mean, how soon are nesting sites introduced?
What do you use? a fully enclosed box with the substrate or a more open type like a cat litter pan (bigger of course)
And what are you using for digging? soil sand? etc?
I want to make sure she has what she needs this year. Her former parents said that when she laid her 52 eggs with no problems she laid them in a open style box (like a litter box) with sand in it and had no complications. I am wondering if I should try that or something else.
thanks
marisa
