They also said sometimes it's a lot easier on some iguanas than others. I thought mine was a male until I looked at the pictures and then thought it was a female and now I think it's a male again. Mine is at least l8 months old and 3 feet long and I can't say I'm l00 percent sure.
Zilla is just a baby, maybe a few months old. He is 12 inches snout to tail (tip). Like I said, I thought it was odd to be able to tell this early, but his femoral pores are very definitely forming protrusions.
