First off, Iguanas dont always make the bacteria salmonella, they can just carry it. So long as you keep your iguana clean, you shouldn't have a problem with it. I know I dont. But just to be safe, make sure everything is clean, especially your ig. It would also be a good idea to clean all the stuff he/she seems to hand around a lot often.
