Water shoots to prevent future kidney problems ?!

Hi there!

Important note on water, when Liz and Rex reached an age of 4 1/2 years I started force feeding my iguanas 10 ml water two times per week using a syringe (without needle) shooting water direct into their throat. I did this because it is known that older iguanas often dies because of kidney problems and one possible cause to this is dehydration by not getting enough water from humidity and food. As I started to notice that my own iguanas where releasing decreasing amounts of urine I took this quite unique decision to prevent possible future problems.

Any comments on this?
