MBD is definitely a strong possibility - ie calcium deficiency. Oversupplementation with vitamin-mineral supplements can also pose problems (hypervitamintosis) as well. Other contributing factors include a diet that was too rich in phosphorus...etc We see things like this time and again at the rescue operation with the igs (and other herps) that we take in.
But yes, to echo what has already been said, I would urge you to seek veterinary assistance with overt signs like this. Good luck and fingers are crossed! Its good to see that this iguana is on the road to recovery with your effort!
