I have asked both the Humane Society and the SPCA and my State Agriculture Dept to ban the practice of fair give aways. This may be be easy with some herpers mentality that no laws are good. I see the need for the responsible to speak out about blatant cruelity. I have always said that if we could get rid of the irresponsible behavior, then no one could complain about the hobby. And we ALL know there is way too many uneducated people getting reptiles as easy pets.
I wish you could have seen the looks on the parents and grandparents faces this weekend as they looked at the stitches from an iguana bite.
Different tactic, but it is working.
