Like other products, most all lighting products are made from a few companies but sold under many different names, the same goes for vehicle tires. Sear's tires are not made by them but by either Good year, Firestone or one of the other tire companies. I use to work for Firestone which supplied a number of companies with tires, which Firestone would print the company's brand on the tire. This is standard practice in manufacturing, as it is also in the lighting field.
Although, some products made by major companies are soul source produced, meaning that whatever company that is receiving the end product to sell, had invested research money with the manufacturing company to build the product in the beginning. This maybe the case with Active UVB or it may not. The only real way to find out is calling the major manufacturing companies, GE, westinghouse, etc... and ask about UVB bulbs. They may say that the soul distributor of such a light bulb is by " John Doe " or they might say if you contact your local lighting store and have them place an order for them, they might be able to get them in at a low cost.
I currently run a parts department and I run into this on a regular bases and have cut a large amount of $$ off the end product doing just this.
