Here is another link to a website about malagasy iguanas. They do not get as big as some iguanas do. There are two genera of iguanids in madacascar, chalarodon, and oplurus. I think oplurus is more common in the pet trade. Oplururs have spiny tails. I have only had experience with oplurus cuvieri, and it would take dark leafy greens, as well as crickets. On the site I'm linking, there is a picture of a species from each genera. I hope this helps.
