How big do they get? Right now I am guessing they get large like a lot of other iguanas? He has him in a ten gallon tank and doesn't want to get another tank later. Do they make good pets or are the complicated beginner pets? I know you all must think my friend is a irresponsible and stupid for purchasing the lizard before he had good info. on them. Also he got it from a petco! I told him that was a stupid thing to do, but tried to be nice since he doesn't know much about any herps. To make him sound more dumb he originally wanted a leopard gecko and I gave him all the info. he needed and a great herp shop to purchase one at. But he said he couldn't find it so he went to petco and looked and their leopard geckos were sick so he got the madagascar iguanna because he said "it looked cool". I told him that was stupid but he doesn't care that much anymore. He likes the lizard now more and more though so that is good. Thanks for the help.
