Leave out the fruit during the day. Leave in the squash and misc veggies but shred them finely so they stick to the greens and he cannot pick them out as easily. Give him some more greens in the afternoon with the fruit this time. Try to cut it very thin as well so it sticks to the veggies. He should accidentally start eating more of the greens. Keep us posted how it works out.
