I don't give much of this, but when I do -- broccoli and brussels sprouts -- I cook them.
She will NOT eat them raw. I also cook butternut squash for my iguana. That's good for her and she wouldn't eat that raw either, but if I nuke it and mash it with her alfalfa tea and calcium, she will eat it. I also give slivers of yellow zucchini and cucumber on occasion. You are right -- not as a staple, but as an added extra.
