Ok, in Thom's question you answered that you have 6 bulbs currently running in some of your cages but not all of them. Why? Are they too small to handle them??? I am currently in the process of turning my bedroom closet which is 7'x5'x5' into HOSS' enclosure. I have someone making a fake door which will act as the other sliding door for the closet but will be covered with 3/4 plexiglass (to retain heat) and 1/4 mesh covering! I did research the info on the active UV bulbs, and I personally don't see why anyone wouldn't want one! This of course being my own opinion. I just want what's best for Hoss and since the days are getting shorter and colder he won't be getting the necessary UVB/A from my bedroom window which he usually basks in! So anyway my question is, given my measurements for my closet/enclosure can I take advantage of the benefits of a Active UV bulb? Thanks! and what wattage do you think works best, and do I need any other Basking style lights for him besides a nightime bulb of course, or will this all-in-one bulb do the trick?
