how cold does it get in Phoenix in the winter?

I have Floyd in a big outside enclosure in the summer~ I still have to bring him in everynight as I do not have any kind of heating in this cage. I live in Northern California and the temps at night can drop to 40 or 50 at night. He sleeps on a chair in my livingroom(has his own blankey)But with winter coming up i am working on the same thing~ We are now in the process of moving to a bigger home and Floyd could have his own room. BUT I am considering fixing his outside cage with heat so he could be out on the deck and have a wonderful view. One thing I have noticed about him is he is just not happy without a good view. We are going to be living right by the lake and it does not drop below 40 degrees out at night~ His cage has a screen top right now so I will have to build a roof ~ Plus it will not need as much ventilation~ Plus you have to consider that the power might go off from time to time and be prepared incase it does. Wouldn't want him to freeze out there. Once i get this winter cage built i am still going to bring Floyd in at night~ As if i am asleep and the power goes out i may not notice~ We live in a rural area so power outages are kinda common. I guess I don't mind bringing Floyd out every morning and in everynight~:) If i have to be away and my sister is going to take care of my igs I always leave him in a room. As she is not to keen on picking him up!LOL~ He always just sits in the window and watches the world!~ One time I decided to put him in the bathroom which has no windows as we had a freak storm and he couldn't be in his outside cage!AHHH! I will never do that again! He hated not having a window and decided he would paint me a portrait of his unhappiness!!LOL~ I was cleaning in there forever!!~ When he has a view he always uses his newspaper like a good boy!~ I guess without anything to look at he gets bored??? Good luck on building the ouside cage!Be sure and give her a window!!;)~
