My guess is your iguana is 9 months old if well cared for and has complete tail, if not then its 19 months. If you want two iguanas, you need to see if your iguana now would mind ,if you know someone w/an iguana have them bring it over and see how they get along. If you still want another one and if you build a cage for them, don't put the iguana you have in there when it's built wait until you get the other one.
