Ian if I understand your setup correctly you have only curtain rods stretched across the bathroom, and ropes for him to climb. Is this right? If so, like IZ's mom said don't underestimate an iguana. If you think for a moment he won't jump from those curtain rods to the the floor or countertop then my predicition is one day you'll be scratching your head trying to figure out how he/she got here or there! I found out just yesterday how quickly iguanas will jet if given the chance. My setup is ontop of my entertainment stand so it's about 6' off the ground. When i left the lid open for just a brief second he was on the top branch, down the aquarium, and on the floor..HAHAHA....after a quick panic I laughed to see him in my curtains 7' off the ground just a staring at me. your best bet would be to put something going to the floor so he can climb down instead of jumping down and potentially hurting himself....I think in your last post you mentioned doin something like this. Just wanted to add that considering my baby ig is only about 12" long snout to tail (STL), and he jumped 5' off the floor and it didn't hurt him THANK GOD. Hope this will help a little. Good luck!
