Yeah, Brian is right.

Although it isn't necessarily a male, it probably is-- check his femoral pores under his back legs.. if they are large, and his neck is bulky, chances are it is a male. When you post a photo it will be easier to tell (well sometimes anyway).

Mine headbobs at me and is definitely a bit snottier when he is on the top shelf of his cage. They are territorial and he probably will get annoyed with you taking a shower in "his" home! But stick your ground. Watch out that he doesn't poop on you from above- they can get back at you like this..LOL

I like to remain alpha, although there are times it is better not to approach them, but let them cool down. If he is lunging and coming at you with his mouth open, you may want to give him some time to cool off! If he starts doing it all the time, throw a towel over him and bring him out of the bathroom to nuetral ground. Pet him and talk to him softly when he calms down...and give him a nice fruit treat!
