it was a very similar wound, just further down the tail. I did have it looked at by my vet and he wasn't sure the tail would stay or not but we were careful and it healed really well. Sharkey has a very stiff, curvy tail due to MBD and I believe it got caught between her basking shelf and the wall. Now I tuck her towel in the space so her tail can't get in there.
