I am still a little concerned about her spikes.... many are just unshed skin, with what appears to be absolutely nothing underneath...as if it would completely break off if I tried to remove the shed. Her spikes, although amazingly long for a female, are very brittle, thin, and many have broken off supposedly from her two-day escape while we were on vacation. I have some aloe vera gel to rub on them but I'm not sure if it is working. She is otherwise very healthy and active, though, and has finally started eating her greens again, after a fit of only eating the commercial food that we had provided while on vacation, even though greens were also offered long after we got back. I am just wondering what I can do to get her to have strong, flexible, healthy spikes again.
Oh and another question....are peaches ok as a treat for iggys? I haven't heard anything about them being bad...any info would be great. Thanks!
