These mites are reptile specific...won't feed off of humans or mammals of any type. You can pick up Betadine at any pharmacy...maybe under the name Povidone Iodine. It's that dark reddish brown antiseptic that they use to prep for surgery and the like. Dilute it in the bath until it's the color of weak tea, don't use it straight from the bottle!
