to him. The main thing is to let him know that he can trust you, yet you are the head honcho. I hold baby for 15 minute sessions at least twice a day and am constantly talking to him when I walk by etc. I take him places around other people (of course, I didn't start this until he was bigger and easier to hang on to!) We are at the point now where he will tolerate me for awhile and then let me know he's done, and I will then let him wander off. It's a mutual thing eventually, but when they are young and frightened they need lot's of attention if they are to be tamed. There is always that chance that they will never become tame...but there is one guy that posts occasionally that mentioned he holds his an hour a day and after about two or three weeks of that they are usually used to him and become pretty tame.
