Here is a pic of Doc in his house where we use a 100 watt flood Active bulb. The house is 4 feet deep x 3.5 feet wide x roughly 4 feet tall. The bulb in a standard ceramic dome fixture and pointed at an angle towards the back of the enclosure. Doc can't walk very well and so climbing is out of the question -he has taken several bad falls from trying to climb before he is strong enough.

Anywho -this is one of 2 bulbs we use in the offive where the multi-plex is. It is directly to the left of the desk I am sitting at right now. When I clean the cage, I turn the light off but when I am in there for feeding and water replacement, I leave it on.

I should point out, for those of you who do not know us, we run a rescue shelter for iguanas so this is not a full size cage but a recovery cage and should not be used for a full size iguana.
