Thanks for the comments folks. I will try to find the article and let everyone know exactly what publication, etc. it was in originally. I thought the concept was off base, but I figured that I would ask. I will let you know something ASAP.

: From everything that I have ever seen, the only way that it can be contracted is through ingestion. Inhalation would definitely be a new concept especially since the only other way I've heard of contraction is from spoiled food. I think that there would also be many more cases of salmonella being reported. BabyHerp could give you more clinical breakdowns on this.
