Phil it seems you're doing ok...if this iggy appears lethargic, ambulating poorly, or not at all...I definately would get him to a vet asap! If he otherwise seems healthy, you may want to get fluids and food in him and see how he is in a week or two. Then get him off to a vet or at least have a fecal analysis done for starts.
He is more than likely off feed because of stress...like abused childern crying for their parents when they're removed from harm because the situation is so familiar to them.
Try handfeeding a little bit. Put the vitamin/calcium in some water soaked whole wheat bread. Once he gets familiar with his new and improved lifestyle...he should come around.
