Try soaking her some. I have a Lou that was outside loose and he looks sooo bummed about the cage. He is eating greens now but ate only commercial for a couple of days. Why not mix greens and commercial food for a couple of days.
Spray the food with a little bit of water. Don't drench the food. Sammy will not eat if it rains on her food. Spoiled little ones-aren't they.

The spikes should heal in time.
