Well, to make a long story long, my ig is in a new house with me after being taken care of by my boyfriend this summer and escaped for the five days (in the new house) we were coming back to Kansas from Oregon to move me in (we had a petsitter that left food out for her although never actually saw her).
SO...now, she somehow got into a position while on her little joyride that broke three of her spines, she's dehydrated and shedding like crazy, and will only eat the commercial diet that was left out for her while she escaped. I cannot get her to eat a collared or mustard green at all now when she used to love them! Now she will only eat the "colorful" food and even raspberries do not entice her as much. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get her to eat healthy again?
I also notice her spikes are very thin and weak...does aloe vera gel help? Any info would be greatly appreciated....her stools are fine, she's getting plenty of mist now, and is unhappily feisty now that she's back in the enclosure.
