A few popping noises.

I woke up this morning and saw that my 5 year old 5 foot male iguana was rising and shining. He did a few tongue flicks and then made a few suttle popping sounds between each flick of hs tongue. He would make 2 or three popping sounds between each tongue flick. Is this type of thing normal? Could the popping noises just be his tongue inside of his mouth of something?
I just wanna if its normal thats alL ?
