right now, i'd chalk it up to both mating season AND the meds he's on and not worry ... most likely it's due to his hormone changes/season ... the orange-colored urates can really throw you, but they ARE normal ...

notice the consistency of the white urates ~ if they're still nice + thin + wispy or if they're getting thickened ... thickening could also be due to season/meds but would maybe also point to needing more fluids ...

great that he still has an appetite, even if it's smaller than usual ... both season and the meds will affect appetite and both at once??? well, it's great that he's still eating and is perky + feeling good! :)

i wouldn't feed lettuce tho ... i'm not sure how this will effect the length of freshness, but what i've started experimenting with is fixing iZ's greens the day before and then letting them soak in a bowl of water in the frdige overnite ~ *in theory*, they'll soak up a bit of the water and get more into him ... misting his salads is great!! juicy fruits like melon that seem to be motly water anyway can help with fluid intake as well as poop production ...
