For the past week now Baby's Urates have been smaller than usual and an orangish color. He is in season right now, passed two plugs this week, and is not eating normally. He eats enough to poop though and his poop looks normal. I did a search here on Kingsnake and read some past posts that mentioned several possibilities such as breeding season, dehydration, kidney problems and even parasites. He had a fecal done last week and is on meds for a mild case of round worms. He is acting normal, perky, active and wandering around. So, what do you guys think? Breeding season? If it is dehydration, how do you guys hydrate your animals. I mist his food well and mist and bathe him every day. Someone mentioned adding lettuce to the diet for a few days to help with hydration....Any thoughts or ideas I should try? He's going to the vet in September for his check-up but in the meantime, what do you guys recommend? Thanks in advance. J
