and there are quite a few people here who are active in "pet-store reform" and other related issues ...

the same as not everyone, (or indeed "anyone") can do ig-rescue work, not everyone can do reform work either ...
people who can + DO, have my utmost respect!!!
it's not something that *I* personally am able to do ~ it's NOT that i do not care or that i am insensitive ~ it's that i have chosen to fight other battles instead ... including battling for iZ's health and happiness ~ no small battle in itself ...

i battle pet-stores in my own small way ~ admittedly, VERY small way ... i don't go there if they have igs + we don't buy our fish/dog supplies there ... no, it's not very much, but it's all i have to give to that particular battle ...

i can't stand to read posts about abused igs ~ whether they're in stores or bad situations ~ it hurts, it makes me sick, it makes me ANGRY ...

but it's NOT that i'm insensitive that i skip over those posts without reading them ...

we all have different roles to play ...
mine is to get on-line + answer questions ...
and to try + get iZ thru yet another medical crisis ...

go for it! hook up with the people who are really fighting this battle and i will be here to cheer you all on!
